Chris McCormick lives and works on her farm in Newtown Connecticut. Coming from a long line of artists, and realizing her love for animals while she spent many wonderful hours at her grandfather’s farm. Chris became an accomplished artist who has been drawing and painting horses and animals since childhood.

Although she spent many years in the financial services industry, Chris continued pursuing her love of painting and artistic interests. Now retired from the corporate world, she is able to devote all of her time painting and managing her beautiful farm.

Chris has specialized in the highly detailed tradition of hand painted portraits, both in oil and acrylic. She is able to capture, with detailed sensitive nuance, the essence and character of each individual subject. Thus making the portrait of your pet, a lasting memory, forever captured on canvas.
